So many reasons… First and foremost, we carry full liability insurance. All of our Cleaning Specialists are W-2 employees, not independent contractors. We take care of all federal, state, and local taxes. Most importantly, we cover Workman's Compensation insurance for all of our Cleaning Specialists—for their peace of mind and yours.
Our Cleaning Specialists are top notch. They go through a rigorous hiring process: phone screen, in-person interview, national and state criminal background checks, reference checks, and a 90-day probationary period.
Our communication is outstanding. The moment you fill out our online quote form, you’ll get an immediate response. We’re available by email to answer questions, send reminders before your cleanings, and can even text you 30 minutes before arrival if requested.
We’re also fully accountable. After each cleaning, you’ll receive a one-click, one-question survey. If something isn’t right, we’ll send our Cleaning Specialist back the next business day to fix it. Your happiness is our ultimate goal.

Occasionally, we use Febreze as an odor neutralizer. We do not supply bleach. If your bathroom requires it, please leave out a bottle of Tilex. Have a preferred product? Let us know—we’re happy to use it!
Yes — that's how we're built. Weekly and biweekly clients are assigned one solo Cleaning Specialist who cleans your home every visit. They learn your layout, your preferences, and where the good towels go, and most of our clients know them by name.
Life happens: illness, vacation, the occasional schedule change. When it does, we'll let you know in advance and send someone trained in the exact same techniques and products. But a rotating crew of strangers isn't our model, and it never has been.
Most recurring clients provide us with codes to keyless entry systems or lockboxes. If you live in a building with a concierge, we can retrieve the key at the front desk.
Tips are always appreciated, never required. If you're pleased with the service and want to express that with a tip, the Cleaning Specialists will be grateful. That said, you can always expect the same high level of service regardless.
Scrub! Residential Cleaning carries full Liability Insurance through Grange Mutual Casualty Company. All Cleaning Specialists are covered under our Workman’s Compensation Insurance via Amtrust.
For your protection—and theirs—our Cleaning Specialists are employees, not independent contractors. We pay Unemployment Insurance and Workers Comp Insurance for every team member. We also handle all State, Federal, and City taxes. All of our Cleaning Specialists are officially employed by Scrub! Residential Cleaning.

Life happens, and we understand! If you need to skip or cancel a cleaning, we ask for at least 2 FULL business days' notice. This allows us to fill your spot and avoid financial strain on our team.
We’ll do our best to reschedule at a convenient time. If cancellation happens with less than 2 FULL business days' notice, there is a $70 cancellation fee. Same-day cancellations are charged at the full rate.
